With Footy finals around the corner that can only mean one thing - Christmas is almost here. It's been a big year at TCON Group, and it's going to be an even bigger end of year as we head into the final quarter. We wrapped up Middle Park, Port Melbourne and Canterbury and head into the break on a mission to complete Hawthorn, Brighton, Northcote and Carlton.

We have altered our layout of the monthly emails to list our recently completed projects at the top, followed by our current projects below them. I must thank our newest staff member - Paul Godson (Digital Marketing Co-ordinator) for his creative and concise touch on our media. Paul has been with us for just under 2 months, and in this time frame has already accomplished so much at TCON Group. Cheers Paul!

Hopefully you all enjoy our newest monthly email, I would appreciate any feedback that might help us make it a more engaging publication.

Architecturally designed by Cactus Architects, our clients John and Linda wanted to make use of the large roof space that existed. Where there was a large open void, we extended into this area and created another bedroom for this beautiful home. With the addition of a dormer window that you can see at the back of the roof line, this allowed the Ensuite to grow in size, and we installed a large aluminium double glazed window so that the natural light can make its way in.
Designed by our friends at Adele Bates - this apartment in Port Melbourne got a full makeover from top to toe. New French Oak floors throughout, Kitchen, Joinery, Robes, Doors, Furniture and Lighting. With such small confined spaces to work with, it has been designed really well and our clients Chris and Heath were stoked with the outcome!
Working to our clients’ needs is a specialty and the key is to be accommodating and flexible around scope and build time, after all Rome wasn't built in a day. Michelle and Victor have been TCON Group's long time clients. We begun working in November 2015 where we started the Bathroom and Kitchen.

This year we re-built the upstairs bedrooms, lounge and bathroom and we are on the home straight. Slowly giving traction to their vision of a sleek, modern family home. TCON is due to kick off the works to their new pool and decking area very soon so that the house will be perfect for the Melbourne summer ahead with their new pool and revived outdoor entertaining area.
Designed by our client who has a beautiful old heritage home on a large corner block, Scott and Anna wanted to bring all the original features back to life, and at the same time, expand the size of their home. With an architecturally designed extension, they will have the luxury of a new home inside, and have the peace of mind that you can retain the historic character, conserve the original fabric and blend modern day architecture.

With the attention to detail at every point showcasing it's many integrated modern details throughout. The home is full of subtle ambient lighting which highlight all of its features throughout. With the end around the corner, we are looking forward to seeing this home in full swing once we handover.
We specialise in Architectural extensions and this Spanish mission is no exception to the rule. With humble beginnings and a big vision for her new home, Sarah and her designers have worked hard to come up with something that is both good looking and a functional space. The detail finds itself in every facet of the façade, with its tall Silvertop Ash cladded walls and inside, a vast, modern, light filled room. We’re harnessing natural light everywhere we can, keeping the house open, warm and functional. Stay tuned to see how we harness some of the Spanish heritage features to blend this home into the 21st Century.
Our clients have worked with their designer to open up this Victorian Weatherboard home in a leafy pocket of Northcote. We've added a new main bedroom with WIR, Ensuite for Mum and Dad, along with new timber flooring and joinery to the existing bedrooms. A central Laundry backs on to a new Kitchen, which flows through nicely to the Living room and new Playroom at the back of the property.

We've maximised the light and outlook in to the backyard with classy black Aluminium double glazed Stackers, Sliders, and Fixed panel windows. New stringy bark Timber floors will transition beautifully in to the existing polished concrete Living room, and accentuate the modern finishes throughout. With frame stage nearing completion, and plumbing and electrical rough-in imminent, we are all systems go to get our clients back in to their family home for Christmas.
Another project designed by Adele Bates, Morgan and her husband decided that they would like to bring a family heirloom (Been in the family for over a century!) back to life. A story tale once it is all complete, TCON have been asked to restore all the original features, new Bathroom, Laundry, Kitchen, Living, Herringbone floorboards throughout and some large timber windows to allow all the natural light to enter this Edwardian home. With scheduled completion due at the end of October, the painters are already inside.
TCON Group values every bit of feedback that you can offer us so that we can improve our level of service and professionalism. If you have something on your mind, then feel free to send us an email at
