In a new paper in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, lead author Nicholas Mailloux notes, “health professionals, who consistently rank among the most trusted messengers in society, are increasingly engaged in climate advocacy and are uniquely positioned to make health a resonant part of the climate conversation.” Over the past 7 years, ecoAmerica’s Climate for Health program has grown to be the broadest and largest coalition of national health organizations engaged in climate action. We’re now training thousands of Climate Ambassadors to be even more effective in their outreach as we expand the movement for climate solutions in America to everyone, every day.
