Hello dedicated volunteers,

Our apologies for all the emails again this week. Sadly, we have to cancel the Hallock's gleaning that was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. Doug let us know that the greens are still under snow and the cabbage that was left did not make it through Friday's freeze. We are definitely bummed!

We did open several more slots for the Specca Gleaning tomorrow morning, so if you happen to be available and it's not too far, please join us!

NOTE: There is still snow around the collards at Specca too. It will definitely be COLD and WET. If you are still up for it, please wear waterproof ski gloves and winter snow boots! No tools needed. If you would rather skip this one, no worries at all :)  Because we want to give the collards as much time to thaw as possible (and the temperature to rise a bit for us!), we are moving the gleaning back one hour.  The new time is 11:30 am - 1:30 pm.
