The CSI Pacific Speaker Series is starting back up again soon for 2016! Coming up on January 13th and 27th, we'll have live events in both Victoria and Vancouver free to all registered athletes and coaches.

Team Investor's Group Amateur Athletes Fund

Investor's Group has provided the opportunity for active Senior National Team athletes to apply for a bursary up to $5,000! Applications are due no later than February 12th, and all pertinent information can be found here.
CSI Pacific CAIP Grant

A reminder to everyone that any registered athlete can apply to receive a grant from CSI Pacific for free CAIP insurance! CAIP covers most sport-related accidents and overuse injuries, and is great for high performance athletes living on a limited budget.

*Please note: CAIP premiums will be increasing beginning February 1st, 2016. This means fewer grants may be awarded to those who apply, so get your applications in soon!

IGNITE Athlete Development Program

Are you a motivated young athlete (age 14-17) looking for a high quality strength & conditioning program?

Athletes, if you are receiving this email, you are eligible to apply for the IGNITE Athlete Development Program in Vancouver (Richmond Oval) or Whistler (WAC)!

The IGNITE program offers world class athlete development opportunities that will help you become a better athlete!

Canadian Sport School Victoria

The Canadian Sport School Victoria is looking for the most talented, hardworking, and motivated young athletes who are driven to represent Canada at the national team level. This program is designed to support the most dedicated elite athletes in grades 10-12 who strive to find daily balance through their pursuit of excellence in sport, the classroom, and the community.

Individuals interested in applying for the September intake should plan to attend the CSS Victoria information night on February 25th.

Created and hosted by the IOC, the Athlete Learning Gateway is an innovative new way for elite athletes and coaches to learn while training and competing. The service is available for you to use at any time, wherever you are, free of charge.

Short courses feature academic lecture videos created by leading academics and professionals from the world of sport. The also include practical insights from top athletes, coaches, and inspirational leaders.

Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence (PISE)

Reminder to all Victoria-based athletes, when using the PISE gym facility, if you have a valid parking pass (Podium and Canadian Elite athletes) please only park in the CSI-labelled spots on the bottom row. Cars parked in the clinic spots will be ticketed as these are reserved for patients.

Also, for your safety and security, please ensure you scan your valid CSI Pacific athlete card at the front desk before heading to the High Performance gym.
