Weekend Storm
A powerful winter storm is predicted to pass through Larkspur this weekend. The combination of rain and high tides is anticipated to result in flooding in flood prone areas of the city. Rain is expected to start Friday night and continue through Monday, with the peak storm intensity predicted for Sunday morning. High tides will occur at 7:00 am Saturday, 8:00 am Sunday, and 9:00 am Monday.
Public Works crews have been working this week clearing storm drain inlets and placing barricades in known flood prone areas. Sandbag locations have been freshly restocked at Heatherwood Park and Piper Park. In the event of an after hours maintenance emergency, please call Public Works at 415-446-4514.
