Performance Sunday, June 2nd

Join me this Sunday, June 2nd at American Jewish University at NOON for a collaborative performance with Badly Licked Bear. The day will begin at 11AM for Conversations in Sculpture with author Jonathan Ames, in the Marvin Smalley Sculpture Garden. Badly Licked Bear and I's performance will follow.

"Tether" is a performance work by Christy Roberts Berkowitz and Badly Licked Bear, rooted in the traditions of action based movement and camp, that explores the role of Jews as a diasporic, heterogeneous people in relationship to colonialism.
Bonus, my show will be open! This will probably be the last Sunday to see it before it comes down!

Residency at the Centre Pompadour

I am thrilled to announce that I will be joining Micol Hebron at Feminist Field School at the Center Pompadour, a neofeminist laboratory and artist residency. I'll be working on photographic work, film, and poetry and essays. I'll also be working on turning my current solo exhibition into a book. After the residency I'll be in Paris from June 29-July 6, continuing to write.

I'd love any suggestions you have for Paris or exciting people I should meet while I'm there!
