Here's my latest Snapchat story on the passing of two comfort women in the last month. More info in the video description on the YouTube link. They are the two of the few remaining ones left in the world:

#NeverForgetNanjing

On a more serious note, this Sunday marks the 78th anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre in China. From December 13, 1937 to January of 1938, 300,000 Chinese civilians and unarmed soldiers were killed in Nanjing after the city fell into Japanese hands. Between 20,000 and 80,000 women were sexually assaulted. Nanjing was left in ruins. It took decades for the city and its citizens to recover. Let us never forget this piece of wartime history and violent crime to prevent future mass murders. I am saddened and surprised that not as many people in the world have heard about this tragedy. I want to do something about that. I hope to spread awareness with my efforts to #neverforgetnanjing.
