Giving Tuesday Donations Will Help Develop African American Heritage Projects

Shore Gives More Giving Tuesday is Nov. 30

The Beach to Bay Heritage Area is participating in “The Shore Gives More Giving Tuesday on November 30! Giving Tuesday is a worldwide movement to encourage giving and celebrate generosity. Nowhere is there more generosity than right here at home.

This year, the Beach to Bay Heritage Area has set a goal to raise $2,500. The funds raised will support the development of our African American Heritage Trail and Mural project.

The Beach to Bay Heritage Area wants to increase tourism to our region that is focused on cultural heritage. Our focus of this project is to build upon the African American heritage assets and interpretive materials in our three counties of Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester.

This holiday, support our mission and help fund this exciting project! Every single individual and every single dollar makes a difference! Donate $35 or more and your name will be part of a plaque at the historic site or mural location.

Learn About the Beach to Bay Heritage Area
We have a new video that shares a bit about our Beach to Bay Heritage Area! "This is our way. A trove of ancient paths and trails. Cultural traditions and stories of the people who shaped this place from the past to the preset and from the beach to the bay." The video was funded by the Humphreys Foundation and produced by Unscene Productions.
