Are you ready?

It's time for mini grant workshops!

Where to I go to find the money for my project?

Let us show you how to navigate the grant process by starting small.   Lower Eastern Shore Heritage Area will be presenting four technical mini- grant workshop days to help you.   These technical mini grant workshops are completely free for you to attend, however you do need to register as seating is limited.
How do I register?  Just send us an email today requesting which workshops you wish to attend with your name and contact phone number.   Email us with your request at info@lowershoreheritage.org or call our office 410-677-4706.  Once we hear from you will, we will confirm your reservation.

Why attend?   In order to apply for a Lower Eastern Shore Heritage Area mini grant,  workshops are mandatory so you must attend at least one Requirements Workshop.  Additionally we have found our workshops can be good networking opportunities.

Workshops will be held as follows:

Discussing your Project  11:00 am to 1:00pm   Opportunity to casually ask questions in a group setting about your potential project ideas and network with other attendees.

We'd like to study elephants. Can a Heritage Area mini grant do that?

Interesting question, but no.  We cannot fund mini grants to study elephants here in the lower shore.

  •  We can fund small projects presented for consideration from non profit 501(c)3 organizations or governmental related agencies related to heritage tourism and the priorities of  Lower Eastern Shore Heritage Area
  •  Funding requests to LESHA can be anywhere from $250.00 up to $5000
  • All Grant awards require a verifiable matching $1 for $1 match.
  • Application due date is Thursday October 17 no later than noon.  Applications will not be accepted after this cut off time.
