Malvern Autumn Classic Car Show
Did you know that Organisers ‘Classic Shows’ have put on over 1,000 classic car shows since they started in 1985? It is no surprise, then, that they are dab hands at their craft and consistently put on some of the best events in the country. This weekend sees the 27th annual Malvern Classic Car Show and Autojumble at the Three Counties Showground and it is set to be a fantastic affair for all in attendance.
The event is the amalgamation of two events, the Classic Car Show and the Mini Show. The Mini Show has become an integral part of the Malvern Motoring Event, sharing the site with around 400 classic cars and 50 or so heavy commercial vehicles. There is a separate concours competiton for the Minis along with dedicated trade and autojumble stands. Very often the general autojumblers will save their Mini parts for the two Malvern events each year so there are good bargains to be had from the stalls comapred to some Mini only events.

Coys Spirit of Motoring
LAND ROVER DEFENDER 'CEREMONIAL'
For sale at this weekend’s Spirit of Motoring auction at Ascot racecourse is this rare 1962 Land Rover Defender ‘Ceremonial’ edition. This unusual model was delivered from new to the royal Engineers, whose insignia is still badged on the inside. With the current owner since 1984, the car has formed part of a major Land Rover Dealer Collection. A charming example of what must be the most iconic and versatile British manufactured vehicle.
Coys of Kensington have a history of providing varied and interesting auctions and this weekend’s is of a similarly high standard. This rare Defender is just part of a catalogue that inspires awe and is the stuff of dreams. Other lots include a Porsche 911 SC, Ferrari 355 and a rare Renault 8 as well as a host of others.
Mostly Cloudy with some rain possible throughout the country.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Cloudy with interspersed sunny patches. Although not warm there is a minimal chance of rain.
