Here's how you can make the greatest impact for JCPS!

THIS AFTERNOON: After parent teacher conferences, parents are encouraged to bring their children to Frankfort to show them how democracy works. Bring proof that you attended a conference and your student will get a free I Love JCPS t-shirt. Teachers who encourage them to come will get one too!*

We will provide the first 25 students with a free "I Love JCPS" t-shirt just for stopping by room 113 in the Capitol Annex today between 1:30 and 4:00 pm. We will be offering tours, providing updates on on legislation that impacts education, and showing them how to connect with their legislators.

* One per student. One per teacher. While supplies last.

TONIGHT: Parents and stakeholders are invited to this community dinner where they can voice their concerns about resources needed to support our schools, teachers and students. We will gather their feedback and elevate their voices to leaders and decision makers. We support you, our valued teachers! This is a chance to empower parents so they can advocate for their children and the schools they attend. We will show parents how to exercise their voices to bring positive and supportive change in our district!

ALL WEEK: Senate Bill 8 is an overreaching bill that will specifically derail progress being made in Jefferson County Public Schools. Let parents know about these upcoming events where they can learn more about Senate Bill 8 and other challenges currently facing public education, as well as ways to participate in the democratic process and have their voices be heard!

Come to Frankfort to learn more about the nuances of the bill and speak with lawmakers
Pack the Rally on Thursday and Annex Tunnel on Friday!
