Greetings friends!

The biggest day of local giving returns today when Give For Good Louisville takes over our community. This 24-hour online giving day hosted by the Community Foundation of Louisville was created to inspire people to give generously to one or more of the 500+ local participating nonprofits that make our community one where people and place can thrive. Online giving takes place between midnight and 11:59 PM today at

On October 18, SOSKY is bringing Diane Ravitch and Jitu Brown to Louisville! We have booked the 1400 seat auditorium at Central High School and are planning for vendors, speakers, food trucks, entertainment and more. Please help us make sure this event is widely circulated to the community by making a donation today. Your contribution helps pay for promotions and logistics for the event, such as flyers, banners, advertisements, and more.

We may have averted a state takeover of JCPS -- for now -- but that doesn't mean everything is "a-ok!" Our Louisville chapter, Dear JCPS, has developed a detailed, multi-pronged plan to #StopChartersInKY, but we need funding. The Kochs and their operatives have a well-funded campaign. They are buying radio ads, and it's no secret they are backing pro charter candidates hard this November to attempt to finish executing their plan to get their hands on our schools. We want to be able to pay for yard signs, mailers, radio ads, whatever we need to in order to counter their misleading narratives.

We have a lot of great ideas and a sound strategy, including this event, but it means nothing if we can't pay for it. Please support our 100% volunteer organization in executing our plan at!

Join us on Forward Radio 106.5 FM today at 6:00 PM for a live broadcast of "Save Our Schools with Dear JCPS" where we feature information about the upcoming rally, the speakers, and updates on the Give For Good Louisville fundraiser.

Thank you!

About Dear JCPS

Dear JCPS has been holding district and state leaders accountable since 2015. We were instrumental in affecting the makeup of the current democratically elected school board. We rallied for the resignation of our ineffective and tone-deaf superintendent. We were successful! But it's far from over! Please support our efforts as we continue to demand educational justice in Jefferson County!
Dear JCPS is 100% volunteer funded. Won't you help us offset some of
our out-of-pocket expenses by making a donation today? Due to the advocacy work of our organization, donations are NOT tax-deductible.
