E~Newsletter: October 2016

Dear Friends!

It's been quite a while since our last newsletter, and so much has happened in the intervening period, as you will discover in this edition. Last August, we were privileged to witness the ordination to the priesthood of Fr. Laurien Nyiribakwe, SJ, at the Regina Pacis Parish, Remera-Kigali. I remember first meeting Fr. Laurien in 2012, at the Centre Christus.

At the time, CYNESA was still a dream and an idea in the hearts and minds of a few of us. A dream and an idea that not many would buy at the time, but which Laurien supported and encouraged when I shared with him. When he later moved to Nairobi for his theology studies at Hekima University College, Laurien became a close CYNESA advisor and friend. On many occasions he helped us secure venues for our monthly team meetings at the college premises. Fr. Laurien works at the Jesuit novitiate in Cyangugu and is also now supporting our teams in Rwanda and in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Please pray for Fr. Laurien, his mission and for our CYNESA Rwanda and DRC chapters.

We invite you to consider supporting our work with a donation or in kind. God bless you.
