We Prayed For You

Dear Friends,
Welcome to the first edition of the CYNESA e-newsletter, for the year 2017! In presenting to you this edition, the words of Pope Francis, in his letter addressed to young people ahead of the 2018 Synod on the theme, “Young People, the Faith and Vocational Discernment”, come to mind. Towards the end of his letter, Pope Francis reminds young people that “A better world can be built also as a result of your efforts, your desire to change and your generosity.” The Holy Father invites us to be courageous: “Do not be afraid to listen to the Spirit who proposes bold choices; do not delay when your conscience asks you to take risks in following the Master.”

In our prayer and sharing at the beginning of the year, the CYNESA team members have re-committed themselves to living their ecological vocation. Pope Francis’ message could not have come at a better time, and we are most grateful for this gift.
Through this medium we will continue to share with you our ‘eco-journey’, as young Catholics in Africa, living Laudato Si’.
