Amanda Seyerle joins DPOP as Assistant Professor
Amanda Seyerle, Ph.D., has been hired as a tenure-track assistant professor at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, starting July 30. Seyerle will join the Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy.
UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in the Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes. Seyerle will also participate in the Carolina Health Informatics Program, an interdisciplinary research and training program that incorporates faculty, health-care professionals and students from across the UNC campus to conduct research in health informatics for scientists and clinicians in medicine, nursing, public health, dentistry and pharmacy. Arlene Chung recently presented at the annual Epic User Group Meeting (UGM)
Presentation titled “Taming the Wild: Governance for Patient-Generated Health Data", focused on governance for Patient-Generated Health Data. It was a feature presentation during the Research Forum for Paving the Way with Pragmatic Informatics Innovations. Chung also presented on developing a HL7 roundtrip approach to conducting electronic screening for risky alcohol use and delivering virtual coaching through the patient portal which was part of a project supported by Healthwise, Inc.
