Updates on CHiP Core and Associated Faculty:
Dr. Lukasz Mazur has recently published an article in JMIR Publications titled ‘Developing and Assessing Electronic Checklists for Safety Mindfulness, Workload and Performance'. The purpose is propose set of innovative principles for effective design of electronic checklists to enhance safety mindfulness and discuss some of our preliminary results from testing our proposed electronic checklist with dosimetrists and physicists. Dr. Di Wu have an oral presentation at AADR and title "Integrative analysis of the microbiome, metabolome and inflammation in Fanconi Anemia", and the one of the eight finalists of AADR Joseph Lister Award for Young Investigators 2018.
Dr. Di Wu has recently published an article - 'The use of CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing to confirm congenic contaminations in host-pathogen interaction studies' read more and 'Clinical utility of a STAT3-regulated microRNA-200 family signature with prognostic potential in early gastric cancer'. Read more. She also published an article, 'A robust and powerful two-step testing procedure for local ancestry adjusted allelic association analysis in admixed populations'.
Dr. Di Wu recently received a PI. Pilot Award, UNC Center for Environmental Health and Susceptibility (CEHS). Project Title: Defining novel Chk2 functions in suppression of UV-induced skin carcinogenesis. $2,5000 for one year. Read more
