Dr. Arlene Chung, Associate Director of the Program on Health & Clinical Informatics, was recently invited to participate in a joint NIH NCI and US Department of Energy scoping workshop on Envisioning Computational Innovations for Cancer Challenges hosted at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory

The aim for the meeting was explored how we can advance and accelerate cancer research through team science, technology adoption, and collaboration across high performance computing communities and cancer researchers, and to identify lean-in scientific challenge areas that push the limits of current cancer research computational practices and compel the development of innovative computational technologies.​
