156 West End Lane proposal

Register your objections with Camden Council

In order to Stop the Blocks proposed by A2 Dominion for 156 West End Lane it is imperative that anyone and everyone opposed to the proposal lodges their objections as soon as possible.

Camden Council owns the land at 156 West End Lane and the space is one of the few council assets not yet disposed of.  We recommend lodging your objections directly with Camden Council and its elected representatives, rather than engage with developers and PR firms keen to aquire the site for their own ends.

To make lodging objections as easy as possible, we've put together a quick guide detailing what to do — we've even included a sample letter and a list of objections that you might want to use in your communications.

Save West Hampstead Public Meeting

Come along and have your say!

We've organised an important public meeting for local residents and residents' associations, along with those from the neighbouring areas, to enable everyone to get involved with the campaign to preserve the unique character of West Hampstead and the West End Green Conservation Area to protect it from the onslaught of ill considered 'development'.

We recommend that all Lymington Road residents whose properties border the 156 West End Lane site (aka Travis Perkins) attend.  We welcome everyone from the surrounding streets and the West End Green Conservation Area.

"Stop the Blocks!" Public Meeting
7pm, 14th July 2015
Lymington Road Residents' Association Hall

The meeting is open to everyone concerned about the forced, intensive over-development blight of this unique and much-loved part of London.  We've invited our local MP, local councillors, and our GLA member to listen to your concerns.

Volunteer to help Save West Hampstead

Got some spare time? Get involved!

In the coming weeks we'll be organising a series of activities to help spread the word about the campaign to Save West Hampstead and "Stop the Blocks!".  We need volunteers to distribute leaflets, talk to residents and publicise the campaign, and collect signatures for a forthcoming petition.

All help is gratefully appreciated and, if you care about the future of West Hampstead, volunteer whatever time you can spare.
