This Saturday

Colorful heirloom pumpkins signal the start of fall and you'll find all shapes and sizes at the Market this Saturday along with fall greens, corn, and squash. Alice Womble with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana will join chef Celeste in the kitchen to showcase fall's bounty in healthy recipes. Join them at 10 am inside Main Street Market and sample their seasonal dish. You'll also pick up great tips for storing and preparing seasonal produce found at the Farmers Market.

Red Stick Sprouts

Calling all kids! Kids ages 2 to 12 can sign up for the Red Stick Sprouts kids club and receive a market tote bag, seasonal recipe, and veggie coloring sheet. Sprouts members also receieve $2 in market tokens to sped with local farmers each time they visit the Red Farmers Market.
