What will be the outcome of the COP21 Climate Summit in Paris? Will world leaders take meaningful steps to solve global warming? Will they look at all of the potential solutions? Or will they continue to focus narrowly on emissions reductions, despite compelling evidence that we can’t reduce emissions in great enough quantities, or in time, to avert a climate disaster?

Regeneration International will bring a message of hope to Paris. We will work in solidarity with other national and international organizations to amplify this simple message: The solution to global warming lies under our feet. Properly managed, healthy soils can cool the planet and feed the world. It’s time to transition away from industrial agricultural practices that degenerate our soils and contribute almost half of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, to agricultural and land management practices that regenerate the soil’s capacity to draw down and sequester carbon.

It’s time for a Regeneration Revolution. Please join us!

- Ronnie Cummins & the RI Steering Committee

CALENDAR OF EVENTS

The Regeneration International team has organized a series of events and workshops that will bring together climate activists, scientists, farmers, ranchers, journalists, NGOs and businesses to share relevant information about the connections between healthy soils, food and carbon sequestration, and strategies for educating the media and the public, and for deploying organic regenerative agriculture and land management practices on a global scale. Please see the registration details below.
