Speaking on your experience particularly, could you talk about how you came into this position at the Buder Center?
I came to the Buder Center in 2010. It was an opportunity to build the program and look at the intent of the mission and vision of the Kathryn M. Buder Center. The first priority for me was increasing the number of Native students. Originally, there were about seven students in the program. We currently have, as of 2016, 35 MSW and MPH students enrolled, representing 17 different tribal nations. My other goal was the enhancement of the curriculum.
