THE UFRJ SCIENCE PARK STARS A POST-INCUBATION PIONEERING PROGRAM
The UFRJ Science Park started the first post-incubation program in Brazil. Designed for companies which have recently left incubators from the whole country, the program is the result of a partnership between the Park and the Coppe/UFRJ Business Incubator. Its goal is to support both the structuring and growth processes of these companies, plus helping in business articulation as well as in innovation development. The Science Park will provide: support for installation and infrastructure, offering different prices for the use of the place (50% of subsidies in the first 2 years and 30% during the following years); a targeted services package; and diagnosis of and support for the company’s managing structuring. Companies willing to get installed in the Science Park should apply through a tender announcement available at www.parque.ufrj.br.
