The Push for Change: A Cross-Canada Journey to Prevent & End Youth Homelessness

Joe Roberts is pushing a shopping cart across Canada to raise awareness and funds to prevent youth homelessness.
Joe Roberts is a former homeless youth turned successful entrepreneur who has now made it his mission to raise awareness and funds in support of preventing and ending youth homelessness with The Push for Change. This cross-Canada trek began May 1, 2016 in St. John's, NL and will take Joe and his team over 9000km and 17 months to reach the finish line in Vancouver, BC!
Along the way, The Push for Change is engaging with local communities through a series of events including Walks with Joe, the Barefoot Challenge, and local school events. 50% of funds raised by The Push for Change support Raising the Roof’s The Upstream Project to prevent youth homelessness, with the other 50% benefiting local agencies. Track his journey and get involved with an event near you at www.thepushforchange.com.
