WAPHA receives Moorditj Djinda award for Best Consultation process
The WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) Wheatbelt team received the ‘Best Consultation Process’ award for its After Hours consultation, in partnership with the Wheatbelt Aboriginal Health Advisory Council and Northam Hospital at the annual Moorditj Djinda awards night. Read more

Collaboration and service integration the focus of networking session
WAPHA, in response to the recommendations of the Federal Government’s National Ice Taskforce, has commissioned new, evidence based services that are tailored to meet people’s individual needs at different stages of their treatment journey.

Carnarvon student wins youth leadership scholarship
Carnarvon year 12 student Alice Sambo is the winner of the 2017 Gascoyne Aboriginal Youth Leadership Scholarship (GAYLS) sponsored by WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) and WA Country Health Service. Read more

Generation Next conference puts focus on mental health for young people
WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) attended the Generation Next conference in Perth on Friday June 2, a one-day event focusing on youth mental health.

Interim arrangements for the National Cervical Screening Program
The renewed National Cervical Screening Program will be implemented on 1 December 2017, supported by the National Cancer Screening Register. Read more

New aged care campaign launched
The Minister for Aged Care and Minister for Indigenous Health, the Hon Ken Wyatt AM, MP has launched a new aged care campaign to raise awareness of My Aged Care and home care services among older people and their families. Read more
