St. Vrain is transforming public education for the future >>

 Superintendent's Update

Dear St. Vrain Valley Community,

As the 2016-17 school year rapidly moves forward, I am constantly reminded of the extremely important role education has in our society. Toward this end, we, as St. Vrain educators and public servants, value deeply our responsibility to advance the success of our students and our entire community. The ability to adapt, change and continually elevate our public education system is what will ensure that our students and our community are prepared for the challenges we face in a highly competitive global environment.

Nowhere is the process of transformation more palpable than in the hallways, classrooms, auditoriums, libraries, athletic fields, playgrounds and lunchrooms in every one of our
St. Vrain Valley schools. Our commitment over the years has been, and continues to be, strengthening rigorous academics, instructional focus programs, quality co-curricular programs, technology integration, personalized learning opportunities that drive student achievement and the well-being of all of our students and staff.

It is because we live in a community that supports and values education that our students – who will become our future leaders – are seeing tremendous success.

On behalf of our students, teachers and staff, I extend my deepest thank you to every person in our community. Together, we are advancing education, transforming lives and shaping our future.

Investing in our Future

"Out of our public school grows the greatness of a nation." These famous words from Mark Twain’s 1900 “I am a Boxer” speech still carry significant weight 116 years later. It is widely accepted that quality education is important for the future success of our children, but many may not realize the crucial role public schools play in the growth, safety, health and well-being of our society.
