The Last Day for Moreston this summer is
Monday, September 7, 2015!
Moreston Heritage Village
One hour tours daily at 11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m., and 3:15 p.m.
Until Labour Day, enjoy wandering through the Village at your own pace any time from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., talking with our knowledgeable costumed volunteers about life in bygone days. Take part in hands-on activities in each building. Enjoy pioneer demonstrations, crafts, scavenger hunts and games. Or, join one of our three daily guided tours through the Village with an Historic Site Interpreter. This tour gives an opportunity to ask questions about the Village and its future plans, and about the main facility as well.
Please note that on days where a heat advisory has been issued, Moreston will be closed for the safety of our volunteers. All exhibit galleries in the Grey Roots main facility will remain open (and air conditioned!) on heat advisory days. You can check our Facebook page, send a message, or call 519-376-3690 ahead of your visit to check if Moreston is open.
