Hey <<First Name>>

Between ending my summer youth program and coming back from the BlackStar Film Festival this week, I'm pretty tapped. While I don't have much writing in this week's edition, this week's podcast is one of the best we've produced so far. Comedian Felonious Monk talked about how "being woke" has changed from the hay days of neo-soul, why being woke isn't for every artist, and what to do if you want to make your work political, but you don't want to deal with the consequences.
 Listen here (48 minutes).
