Kite Festival 2016

This year the Kite Festival was celebrated with a theme “A kite raises against, not with the wind”. The festival was organised by ELCIA Trust on 13th Jan 2016. Around 250 students from Konappana Agrahara and Anantnagar School participated in the festival and had a gala time by making their own kites and flying them.

Also, present at the event were ELCIA Trust Chairman – Ms. Aruna C Newton, CEO- Ms. NS Rama, and Trustee – Ms. Shalini Murthy and Mr. Lokesh. They joined the celebration with the students and relived their childhood memories.

It was a sight to behold, with colourful kites in the blue sky and kids having the time of their life. An eagle-shaped kite flew very high and real-life eagles in the sky pounced on that kite giving no chance for any kite to fly that high!
