Bangalore ITE Biz is back!

ELCIA pavilion will have 8 stalls dedicated to ELCIA member Industries. ELCIA is offering these stalls to its member organisations FREE OF COST.

The event is designed to help with Branding, Lead Generation, Linkages, Insights, Funding etc. There are unique opportunities offered through sponsorship, exhibition, product launch, publicity  and other customized options.
Do make use of the opportunity. To take a stall in Bangalore 2015, please mail The stalls will be allotted to member industries on first come first basis. So please get in touch with us at the earliest.

Update on ELCIA Cluster

The construction of the ELCIA MSME Cluster building has been completed. The e-procurement process is about to start for the machineries. The CFC (Common Facility Center) will be operational by mid 2016.

Georgetown University study

A team from Georgetown University is working on a project to create collaboration opportunities among the organizations within our industrial cluster. We are starting with a survey. The findings will lead to a proposal, which will be presented in February. This proposal will detail options on what we can do as a collective to create opportunities that can emerge from co-innovation among our tenants.

Carpooling campaign

A carpooling campaign was inaugurated on 21st October 2015 by V. Manjula, IAS, Principal Secretary, Dept. of IT - BT & Dr M A Saleem, IPS, Additional Commissioner - Traffic. The event was held at Bengaluru Traffic Management Center on Infantry Road.

President of ELCIA R. Ramachandran was the guest of honor along with Poorna Pragna, President - ORR Companies Association and Global Head of Security & Safety, CISCO, and  Ravi Babu, President, Whitefield Export Promotion Park Industrial Association. C K Baba, DCP, Traffic East division and Girish, DCP, Traffic West division were also present at the event.

ELCIA is supporting this initiative by collaborating with
Quick Ride – real-time carpooling and ride-sharing app. We request member companies to actively promote carpooling within their organizations and help easing the traffic.
Awareness Programme on Women’s Rights

In order to create greater awareness about the rights of women employees through various enactments of the State, the Department of IT, BT in association with ELCIA conducted an awareness program for stakeholders including HR and Logistics department heads and women employee representatives of member industries at Electronics City on 19th November 2015. The two hour programme was organised at ELCIA Board Room.

Asst.Commissioner of Police, Madiwala, Obleshwar and Asst. Commissioner of Labour department, Zahir Basha were present at this event.
Learn to Breathe Right and Heal Oneself

ELCIA conducted a Yoga session before Diwali on 5th Nov 2015. Right mediation and breathing techniques were introduced to the audience.
"Wealth from Waste" Cluster

There is lot of scope to improve our plant productivity and scale up. A programme was conducted by Essae Chandran Institute (ECI) on 19th November to help identify blind-spots and potentially bring explosive change in our enterprises. It provided insights on,
