Trade fairs and conferences may be common in the IT and Electronics Industry. But the premier event that showcases the best of Bengaluru’s IT is the BengaluruITE.biz. The event was  at Palace Grounds and I am sure members made use of this opportunity to learn, share and network with peers!

ELCIA is also busy planning our next event -a Job Fair early next year, with the theme ’Unearthing Talent’ . The job fair will bring employers, experienced professionals and entry level talented individuals under one roof and is tentatively scheduled for Jan 21st and 22nd 2017 at ELCIA Park.

Free Cardiac Camp at ELCIA from Narayana Hrudayalaya

ELCIA in association with Narayana Hrudayalaya had arranged a free cardiac camp at ELCIA on 17th Nov Tuesday. Many employees and workers participated in the camp.

A Session on Password for Happiness by Iskcon Foundation

Why is satisfaction a transient experience in this world? Can one stay high forever?

ISKCON Youth empowerment forum and Akshaya Patra strives to promote holistic personality development based on the principles of the Vedic Wisdom through TOUCHSTONE foundation. Over the last decade, more than a lakh youngsters in Bangalore have been benefited by these  programs.

These sessions have been conducted in different places such as BTM, HSR Layout, Electronic city, Rajaji Nagar, Whitefield, ITPL, Marathalli and many more on Saturdays.

For the benefits of the employees of Electronics City, a session on ‘Password for Happiness’ was held at ELCIA Board Room on 17th November Tuesday from 11:30 hours to 13:30 hours. 

Water Workshop

ELCIA supported a workshop on water in partnership with KSPCB;  The workshop - “Watershed Moment: Bengaluru’s water problems and solutions” was organised by Co Media Lab (a joint initiative of Radio Active CR 90.4 MHz and Citizen Matters), at Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) on October 1st. Panelists included KSPCB Chairman Lakshman, Rajeev Gowda, Rajya Sabha MP, Nitin Pai, Takshashila Institution and others.

The workshop enabled participants to understand the problems of water scarcity in Bengaluru and possible solutions, through case studies and success stories.

Department of IT & BT, Govt. of Karnataka has taken many initiatives to enhance the innovation in the  ecosystem. In this direction, BengaluruITE.biz 2016 - 'Define the Next' was conducted on November 28th - 30th Bangalore Palace, Bengaluru.

Below are the few companies in Electronics City which got awarded :

1. Personal Air Quality Systems Private Limited has been chosen as one of the winners in the Startup Karnataka Top Tech 25 Awards 2016.
2. IT major Infosys has bagged the IT Ratna of Karnataka award for the company’s consistent and outstanding performance in IT exports in the above Rs 10,000 crore category and for being the highest exporter and employer in Karnataka.
