A note to our community:

Exciting things are ahead for Geneva Public Library as we transition to our new library at 227 S. Seventh St.! We're waiting for some final construction work to be completed to get the all-clear for our move, and we'll update you as soon as we know more. Meanwhile, we're packing, and although we don't have a moving date yet, we're planning ahead to ensure there is as little disruption to our community as possible.

Our move to the new library does mean we need to make temporary changes to some of our services.

Current changes include:

* We've extended due dates until May for your convenience. You can enjoy your books and Library materials for a longer period of time without worrying about them being overdue.

* What's coming up - We anticipate closing for four weeks during our move.

Our online resources - from eBooks, eMagazines, eAudiobooks, eMovies, and tools for research, school, and work - are available 24/7 at gpld.org. You can also use your GPLD library card at neighboring libraries.

We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your patience as we prepare for our move to the new library. We're thrilled about all the services and resources we'll be able to offer our community in the new facility!

Keep up with future announcements regarding our move at gpld.org.

The Magpie Murders
By Anthony Horowitz

When a famous author of British mysteries submits his latest novel to his editor, nothing seems out of the ordinary. Then, real life starts to unfold just as it does on the page, and suspicions abound. As dead bodies start to pile up, manuscript pages go missing, and everyone seems to have a motive, it becomes clear that art is imitating life. This book is a fun combination of an Agatha Christie novel and a modern whodunit, and will delight mystery readers of all types.
