(Still) learning to cope with my daughter’s health problems - Sam Radford

It is nearly two years since I first wrote publicly about my struggles with coming to terms with my daughter's chromosomal disorder (22q11.2). Eloise is soon to turn seven, and I thought it was about time to try and capture some of my thoughts and feelings again.

Call out for Help & InformationIn the next couple of months we will be sending out Max Appeal flyers to all cardiac departments/PICU's/speech & language/immunologists/cleft palate and general paediatrics. As you can imagine to get this information to the correct person and department is quite a task. Therefore, I'm calling on your help. I need to know the following please:

The Psychiatric Imaging Group at Imperial College London is looking for male and female volunteers aged between 18-65 to participate in a research project. We are looking for volunteers who are carriers of 22q11 deletion.

100,000 Genomes Project
I am a researcher from Oxford University looking for people to take part in the 100,000 Genomes Project. 

The 100,000 Genomes project funded by the Department of Health will sequence 100,000 genomes from around 70,000 people. Participants are NHS patients with a rare disease, plus their families, and patients with cancer.
