This weekend is extra special for me as I'll be vending at my first in-person event in over a year. If you're local to Ohio, I'd love to see your smiling face at the Mid-Ohio Fiber Fair tomorrow from 9am to 5pm CDT. I've included a sneak peek at some of the Rare Breeds I've crafted to fill the booth down at the bottom of today's mailing. For my friends from the rest of the world, I have a trio of treats to debut, from historical styles to floral felines.
With the official start of summer just around the corner, I got to thinking about unique ways to celebrate the season.
My Twirl design was retired several years ago when the Penannular debuted, but I've decided to bring it back in shining silver and bronze with one simple, classic, and elegant accoutrement -- the freshwater pearl!
If you are a newer member of my community, you might not be familiar with just how this unusual shape works to style your shawls. If that's the case, I have just the blog post for you. In the spirit of my alliteration-loving nature, it's entitledGive A Twirl A Whirl. 💙
Next, we have a new addition to my Charmed Celtic collection! I chose the Triquetra to expand this crowd-favorite line because of its many meanings, giving each member of our community an opportunity to connect with its infinite design in their own way.
Two of my favorite interpretations are that the endless curves represent infinite love or an uninterrupted life, often given as a gift with best wishes for longevity.
Finally, I have a new feline friend who I find simply fabulous. This Cat Shawl Pin is more than a simple silhouette of our four-legged family members, it's adorned from head to toe with summer splendor in the form of flowers and greenery. I can't wait to see how you style your favorite finds!
As promised, I thought I'd say my goodbyes with a sneak peek at how I prepare for in-person events. The first picture is a test run of my booth setup in a rather glamorous locale called my driveway. I'm looking forward to seeing how attendees respond to my newest shawl design! The second picture is a batch of Penannular Rare Breeds. Would you like to see a newsletter-exclusive collection of the one-of-a-kind designs from this weekend's fun? Let me know with a reply and I'd be happy to oblige! 😊
