We've made it simple to be creative...

Sometimes we all lack inspiration – so Cutshop has made it easy to make something that’s a little unique for the home or workplace.  We've put together a Decorative Panel Library which features a range of patterns available on a choice of three substrates (MDF, Ply and Solid Surface/Acrylic) in three sizes from a standard sheet down to a 360mm tile.  These patterns will kick-start your creativity and make it quick, easy and affordable to create decorative panels - the Cutshop way.

Our library is available for viewing at Cutshop franchise showrooms from December.

Read here for more information - and a sneak peek at the patterns we're working on.

Got a product dream?

As well as helping tradies, businesses and DIY'ers with their cutting and edgebanding, our Cutshop services have also led people to create new businesses.

One such person is Susan of Formantics. As an artist, Susan saw a unique product opportunity and, with the help of the Cutshop North Shore team, she developed these beautiful round floating shelves as a limited edition product in her art and homewares online store.  Find out how she did it in our recent profile blog.

If you've got a great new product idea and need the how-to to make it come to life, please give us a call.

Think it. Make it... Share it.

Custom signage...

Have you thought of creating custom-made signage for your home or workplace? We recently worked on some for a Hamilton client. Starting with a the natural wood, our CNC design software and machine got to work. Check out the before and after pics.

Hello to Hamilton

A great start...

Cutshop Hamilton officially opened last month, offering barista coffees, beer and sausages. Family, friends, suppliers and customers mingled easily together, exchanging Think It, Make It ideas together with some pearls of wisdom and 'do’s and don’ts of the trade.  It was also great to get all the Cutshop team members together to welcome Keith and Anthony into the Cutshop franchise fraternity.

If you're nearby, drop in to see Keith and Anthony at 47 Northway Street, Te Rapa, Hamilton.  - they'd love to show you around.

Unless you're using materials such as solid wood or lacquered MDF for cabinetry, you may need to apply edge-tape to your doors or exposed-panels to protect them from moisture and achieve a professional finish.

An edge banding machine will give the best result and our state- of-the-art Holzher Lumina imported from Europe is the grandaddy of them all.
