St. Joseph Cathedral Wraps Upon This Rock Campaign at 140% of Parish Goal
Following the parish’s second Commitment Weekend, Fr. Peter Drilling is very proud to report that St. Joseph Cathedral will be finishing the Upon This Rock campaign at 140% of the parish goal! St. Joseph found early success with the initiative through visitation and was the first Block 1 parish to reach their goal. As their campaign comes to a close, the parish raised $758,943 from 62 gifts.
Fr. Peter Drilling, the rector of St. Joseph Cathedral, is very proud of his parish’s success. “Right from my first meetings with parishioners,” Fr. Drilling shared with us, “I have been overwhelmed by their generosity. What a blessing!” With its parish share, St. Joseph Cathedral plans to create a Deferred Maintenance Fund that will aid them in preserving the parish for years to come. Some of the items that may be addressed over the upcoming years include replacing the floor underneath the pews, ongoing repair of the parish windows, and painting refurbishment of various areas of the Cathedral.
Congratulations to Fr. Drilling, Campaign Ambassadors, and parishioners at St. Joseph Cathedral for running such a great campaign!
