Parishioner Support Is Staying Strong!

Upon This Rock success continues throughout the Diocese of Buffalo, as St. Michael Parish in Warsaw surpasses its goal this week!  Fr. James Hartwell hosted a Kick-Off Reception for parishioners that garnered a tremendous swell of support for their Upon This Rock campaign.  The parish now stands at 110% of its goal as it commences its public-phase.
As regular readers know, 35% of what has been raised at St. Michael will go directly back into the parish.  With their portion of this share, Fr. Hartwell says his parish plans to make necessary renovations to the Parish Hall that will allow them to relocate offices there.  St. Michael also plans to make its heating system more efficient and cost-effective.  Since the parish met its goal, 55% of all additional funds will be going back to its community.
Congratulations to Fr. Hartwell and everyone at St. Michael for making this campaign a success!

A Prayer for Upon This Rock

Loving God, we come to You,
standing together in faith,
ready to realize the freshness of a bold endeavor,
as we look to the future of our Church.

Building up the Kingdom of God on earth is Your will and our privilege.
Bless our efforts with the energy and enthusiasm we need.

Jesus, our Redeemer,
encourage and guide us.
Open our hearts to be good stewards because of our love for You.

Holy Spirit, our Sanctifier,
empower us to carry out Your will for the Upon This Rock campaign.

May Your Goodness be upon us,
And give us success to the work of our hands and hearts.

We ask Your blessing now and always
through Christ Our Lord.
