Parishioners at Holy Name of Mary Go Far and Beyond The Call!

Fr. Mierzwa is excited to report that Holy Name of Mary in Ellicottville, with $479,687 pledged to date, has raised 108% of its $448,000 goal! At the first Commitment Weekend, the parishioners raised 14% of their overall goal, a total of $62,450.

We spoke with Fr. Mierzwa who attributes the success of the campaign to his generous parishioners. “I am humbled by the profound generosity of my parishioners as we approached [and surpassed] our goal of $448,000," he said, and “it was bolstered by [some] generous parishioners who are seasonal visitors.” Fr. Mierzwa feels blessed by the support the parish has given to the campaign.

With their 35% share, Fr. Mirezwa will create an endowment fund that will aid in preserving the parish for years to come. 55% of whatever is raised now will remain in the parish.

Congratulations again to Fr. Mierzwa and all of the parishioners at Holy Name of Mary!

LEARN HOW TO GIVE

A Prayer for Upon This Rock

Loving God, we come to You,
standing together in faith,
ready to realize the freshness of a bold endeavor,
as we look to the future of our Church.

Building up the Kingdom of God on earth is Your will and our privilege.
Bless our efforts with the energy and enthusiasm we need.

Jesus, our Redeemer,
encourage and guide us.
Open our hearts to be good stewards because of our love for You.

Holy Spirit, our Sanctifier,
empower us to carry out Your will for the Upon This Rock campaign.

May Your Goodness be upon us,
And give us success to the work of our hands and hearts.

We ask Your blessing now and always
through Christ Our Lord.

Amen!
