A MESSAGE FROM OUR PTSA PRESIDENT
I was fortunate enough to spend some time outdoors last week, helping our Reynolds Seniors check-in for cap and gown photos. There was an exciting buzz in the air on a gorgeous, and sometimes windy day. Smiles were in abundance - It was obvious that this day was full of promise of the future.
I smile every time I think about all of the wonderful students I met that day and the wonderful times ahead of them.
Congratulations Class of 2021!
There are many, many great things happening this month you will learn about in this letter.

Have a wonderful May!

Adopt a Senior Demon! is underway on Facebook. We would like for every, single senior to have a sponsor family to send them encouraging notes, gift cards, and a final gift basket to celebrate them as they move through this challenging time and join RJR alumni. “Two things define you: your patience when you have nothing and your attitude when you have everything.” Unknown
Each year, RJR chooses a focus. This year the focus has been RESILIENCE. We have speakers, book studies, curricular integration, and community involvement around the focus. Next year's focus will be EQUITY. Students and parents are invited to participate in the Equity Leadership Team. Interested? Fill out this form!

There will NOT be a county-wide sponsored athletic physical day this year. Parents are encouraged to set appointments now with their child's primary care physician to set up an appointment for an athletic physical. We have a large number of student-athletes whose physicals will be expiring in June, and they will need new updated ones before they can do any summer workouts with their teams.
A year ago was the first time we held a reverse raffle event to raise money for the RJR Athletic Booster Club, and it turned out to be such a fun and successful night!
With no way to hold fundraisers this year, the RJR Athletic Booster Club needs your help more than ever. Your support last year made it possible for students to attend Reynolds sporting events that otherwise wouldn’t have. Please help us reach our goal of raising $17,000 this year. Money raised will help fulfill so many needs for our student athletes and coaches.
