Baccalaureate, a faith-based service celebrating RJR's Class of 2017 will be held on Sunday, June 4 at 5:00 p.m. at Ardmore Baptist Church. Seniors and their families will receive an invitation to this special service in May, but all members of the Reynolds community are welcome to attend.
This annual service is led by seniors who have an opportunity to speak or perform musical selections. Any senior who is interested in participating in the service MUST complete a sign-up form. These forms will be available at tables set up outside Student Services and the arts building on April 19 and 20 from 8:30 to 8:55 a.m. and 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. Sign up forms will also be available in Student Services, the Chorus room and the Band room.
A group of parent volunteers is organizing the service. If you have questions, contact Merritt Orr at firstname.lastname@example.org.

What is your favorite part of the arts genre in which you were selected? My favorite part is the chance I get to move every day and express myself in a way that some don’t get the chance to do.
Where would you most like to attend college and what might be your major? I plan to attend UNCG for Interior Design.
What is your proudest artistic accomplishment? My proudest artistic moment is attending all-county and getting the chance to learn from an amazing choreographer, BJ.
How will the arts influence your future career? Arts will influence my future career because it’s something I’m always surrounded by. It’s a sense of relief and connectedness with society. Pieces of art will always be statement pieces for me during my career.
Two RJR photography students images were selected to be part of the Youth Art in the State of North Carolina exhibit in Raleigh. Photographs by Ruthie Strausser and Jessica McKay will be displayed in the lobby of the NC Legislative Building from March 2017 until February 2018. The students were honored at a reception with State Senators and Representatives on March 28, 2017 in Raleigh.
