NASA has awarded FIU $3 million
to address important challenges in exploring the "final frontier." To help train critical cybersecurity skills, the university has launched a
ybersecurity apprenticeship program (Cyber-CAP)
through a $2 million award from the U.S. Department of Labor. Additionally, FIU is collaborating with other universities to enable a faster and more secure internet through a
$20 million grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF)
