As we mentioned last month, Tom Farrey from the Aspen Institute will be our keynote at Fund the Fun on April 20th. We had a chance to meet with him last week about his visit to Seattle, and thought we’d reveal a little bit of that today.
Tom believes in the power of collaboration between parks and recreation departments and local businesses, professional sports teams, and youth-focused nonprofits. He’ll share stories of what that looks like to get us thinking about what we can do here at home. He’ll also talk about “the power of the permit,” and if you don’t know what that means, make sure you join us at the breakfast!
Tom is sure to inspire us and get us thinking; you won’t want to miss this chance to hear him speak. If you haven’t registered for Fund the Fun yet, click here to get that done. We look forward to seeing you at Fund the Fun!
