Your regular Newsletter on Platforms with updates from Boundaryless - Platform Design Toolkit

Dear Readers,
here's your latest newsletter on Platforms – a curated list of links and news brought to you by the Boundaryless - Platform Design Toolkit Team.

It's been over two weeks since we released our new whitepaper: New Foundations of Platform-Ecosystem Thinking - Designing products and organizations for a changing world. Hope you had time to check it out.

Now it's time for a deeper collective sensemaking process to start!

Next week - on December 18th, 4-6pm CET - we're launching a series of whitepaper sensemaking webinars, where we'll dig deeper into different topics covered in the paper.

In the first one, join us for an extraordinary panel discussion on organizational design and development, exploring the new frontier of organizational adaptation to the changing landscape explored in the whitepaper: decentralization, mindset changes, new capabilities, facing disruption, and supply chain transformation... We’ll discuss the mounting challenges incumbent organizations face at the level of leadership, mindsets, business models, and organizational and technological infrastructures

The panel will feature leading voices in organizational development and will be live-streamed on our whitepaper page. The discussion will be moderated by Boundaryless' CEO and Co-Founder Simone Cicero and EEEO lead Emanuele Quintarelli. Questions will focus on key ideas presented in Chapters 2 to 4 of the paper.

Register here in order to not miss any whitepaper updates!

📁From The Archive

On every issue of the newsletter we remind you of two articles from our gigantic content base that you may have lost - or simply was released before you joined our community. Worth a read:

Today’s policy makers are faced with enormous challenges: as the world dives into complexity, industrial policy making is increasingly losing relevance. We believe that platform design provides a new lens, and a new potential, to policy making, helping to define and design policies that attract (pull), and resonate with the objectives of citizens’ ecosystems.
From January 2018 - Design for Interconnectedness

Designers around the world are used to approach the design process with a User (Human) Centered point of view. We believe that is time to deliberately focus on designing for interconnectedness, and that this will help organizations climb the value chain towards ecosystem actualization.
