Weekly News

Dear friends,

This Sunday is the 2nd in Lent.
In the Gospel reading from Matthew, Jesus goes up to a high mountain and is transfigured before his disciples, his face and clothes shine and just for moment his followers glimpse that beneath his humanity the fullness of God is also present. As we go through Lent and the events of Holy Week it is good to remember that in Jesus who suffers and dies God is fully present. After mass we continue our Lent course, click here for more details. Please bring any spare cash for the London Diocese Lent Appeal, there is a collecting tin at the back of church every Sunday in Lent. Click here for more details.
