Pale amber sunlight falls across
The reddening October trees...
Are we not better and at home
In dreamful autumn, we who deem
No harvest joy is worth a dream?
A little while and night shall come,
A little while, then, let us dream.

~~Ernest Dowson, Autumnal

The Friends of the Library and other library volunteers recently enjoyed the annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon given by the Board of Trustees. This end of the season event is a time for the Board to thank volunteers for their hard work on behalf of the Library and the community. This year the Friends made great strides toward becoming a stronger, more supportive organization. We have a lot of work ahead in the coming year, and we invite you to join the Friends as we work to enhance and improve our Library.
As always, we can use your gently used books for The Book Cellar.
