Dear all, 
From the last newsletter, project partners are fully focused on the implementation of the main components of the WeLive framework as well as the preparation and launching of several activities in order to ensure a high involvement and participation of city stakeholders during the pilot phase I. This pilot phase I is planned to be launched in May-June next year; so that the WeLive framework and services should be ready by that time.  Previously to the implementation phase, technical partners specified the software architecture of the WeLive solution, both its client and server-side, integrating contributions achieved through the participation of consortium partners in earlier European and national projects.
Besides the technical activities and as you may see below, project partners have participated in several activities to disseminate the project methodology and results.

Laurea University of Applied Sciences conducted a user-centered survey into future digital services that use open data

This spring Laurea University of Applied Sciences surveyed with user-centered methods citizens’ needs and wishes concerning future digital services. In total, 307 citizens and other stakeholders answered the survey and in the next phase design game was created. Read more

Laurea’s Master’s degree students developing new digital services based on open data

This autumn students in Laurea’s Master’s degree programmes will take part in the WeLive project by generating ideas for new digital service concepts which are for the benefit of the citizens and based on open data.

Bilbao City Council received Certification UNE/AENOR 178.301

Bilbao City Council became the first public institution of the State to obtain UNE 178 301 standard, which is the first in a series of documents to help cities to evolve and become smart cities and it is also a recognition of maturity and open data management by the Bilbao Consistory.

Bilbao City Council: Preparing a new image for Transparency Portal

Bilbao City Council prepares for deployment this fall of a new image of the Transparency Portal and planned improvements are intended to promote their use and more accessible for all citizens.

Trento's path of innovation

The city of Trento has organized an international workshop to analyze its “Smart City” strategic plan with the help of international experts. Then Trento has launched another main consultation process with all local stakeholder (citizens, public administrations, companies and professionals) to share and discuss objectives and roadmap of its path of innovation.

Trento Autumn activities

This fall the path of innovation continues to organize new workshops, and sessions focused on “sustainable mobility” and design games.
Furthermore new innovative services in the field of mobility, environment and government are released in September.

Novi Sad Smart City – what is done so far

Novi Sad is on the way of becoming smart. One of the key steps to achieve this goal is certainly promo campaign “Novi Sad - Smart City” that started in July in order to target different groups, inform them on WeLive project and get their feedback. Read more
Novi Sad future steps

In the coming months, the goal is that more people from different organizations learn more about the project, that is why Novi Sad will set up the next events: workshops in entrepreneurs' associations, in secondary schools and faculties and general public events. Read more
