LOOKING AHEAD

Even a touch of gray, after days of sun, a mist and a chill, and your mind leaps to fall. To work, to sweaters, to a different walk.

There is a length to summer, a long clothesline to sweeten, to lay out and to finish.

City Hall Wall Clock, Arne Jacobsen, 1956
Made in Denmark by Rosendahl, original size (11.4"), boxed, $350.
Chromed Aluminum frame, mineral glass lens, powered AA battery, 1,5V (not included).

The City Hall Clock has been the sentinel in the shop for forty years. It is a perfect presentation of the time, every day and every year.

Tivoli Pal BT Radio, 2021, Henry Kloss
6 x 3.6 x 4.7 in, with power supply, antenna, 12 hour battery life, headphone and auxiliary ports, boxed, $200.

The Tivoli Pal radio has been away - stuck in a maelstrom of tariffs and duty and delay. Now it is back.

It has a new surface finish, a better recharging battery, and comes in six bright colors. And in an all-silver model.

The first to arrive is the all-black, with white lettering, sleek and smart. The other colors will follow soon. You are welcome to pre order any of the colors, they are all coming in.

The PAL portable radio is a fine ally, sitting perfectly. It has a superb tuner for AM / FM, or it can be a superb Bluetooth speaker. Plugged in, it will automatically charge itself and be ready to play for 12 hours as a portable.
