The Flow is the quarterly e-newsletter of the Hydro Empowerment Network (HPNET), a south-south knowledge exchange and advocacy platform to advance local practitioners of small-scale hydropower, made possible by the WISIONS initiative.
In this issue, we feature the work of HPNET members in Ethiopia, Madagascar and Nepal. The updates shed light on solutions for socio economic value-add, feasibility studies, and local manufacturing.
From our feature series, we bring you new editions of Earth Voices and Hidden No More, both from the mountainous region of Chitral, in Pakistan. In our quarterly reflection on our SEEED initiative, we focus on the core elements of productive end use and social enterprise. In our Solutions section we present our new-and-improved Mini-Grid Technology Differentiation Table, developed by our Work Streams in partnership with Swiss Resource Centre and Consultancies for Development (Skat).
