Featuring practitioner insights on grid interconnection, local capacity building, local manufacturing, and sustainable spring-sheds.
THE FLOW OCTOBER 2020
The Flow is the quarterly e-newsletter of the Hydro Empowerment Network (HPNET), a south-south knowledge exchange and advocacy platform to advance local practitioners of small-scale hydropower, made possible by the WISIONS initiative.
In this issue, we feature the work of HPNET members in Cameroon, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Nepal. They include solutions for grid interconnection, local capacity building, local manufacturing, and sustainable springsheds.
From our feature series, we bring you new editions of Earth Voices and Hidden No More, both from Indonesia. In our Social Enterprise for Energy, Ecological and Economic Development (SEEED) reflection, we discuss the fundamental role of watersheds for sustainable micro hydro.
