This week keep Love Atlantic on your frontal lobe. As a church we are launching an initiative for the homeless but take time this week to consider ways that you or a few friends could show love to the community. Showing Christ's love is for everyone!
Besides Love week, be sure to get involved in any on-going ministries that suit you and keep your eyes peeled for new ones beginning real soon.

This week are capping off our Love Atlantic Series with a third message instalment and a special opportunity to get involved.
As we've discussed in previous weeks SJ1 is participating in Love Atlantic by preparing give-away items for our homeless community. Each bag will be stocked with essential items needed for survival.
As an act of love please consider bringing donations on Sunday morning this week. Our combined efforts will offer a vivid visual reminder of what love-in-action looks like.
Please consider bringing items such as:
Hats
Mittens
Socks
Ready-made soup
Beans
Fruit cups
In addition, remember our Food Pantry. This long-standing ministry is a vital resource to individuals and families facing food scarcity. Please consider contributing to that ministry as well as we approach the launch of Love Atlantic.

Every Wednesday night Pastor Martin hosts a great group of youth and helps them navigate their Faith in our fast-paced world.
Feel free to join up any week and enjoy the company of fellow sisters-in-Christ.
On Oct. 2 we're starting a 9 week viewing of the Popular Streaming Series, The Chosen. For a video trailer of the series see this link.
Meet up on Sunday nights at 6 in the Main Service Area where we'll take in one episode per week, followed by guided discussions. We're offering warm drinks and childcare for the duration and would love to have everyone come out to this special opportunity.
