Here we are, 2021. Who would have ever thought that our market would be like Toronto or Vancouver. That we would be in such a seller’s market that in a matter of two days of a new listing, some properties would have 50 visits, and receive multiple offers whereas the sold price would end up $60,000 higher than asking…for example. Yes, we are still there. Since April 2017, when I first saw new listings go down, we were on our way towards a seller’s market so strong that buyers could easily lose 4-6 offers before they finally obtain their own property.

What a difference in the median price across the board from houses, condos and plexes. Also time to sell is almost cut in half due to the high demand from buyers. I am still seeing on a continual basis brokers, as soon as they list a property, putting a deadline of days to visit and deadline for submitting your offer
